Dispute who is a better driver: men or women is nearly as old as who was first: an egg or the chicken. For years, it’s been the same argument.Men are  better drivers than women. Despite the lack of any real proof, there are few men that would honestly put their hands on their hearts and admit that their wives or girlfriends were better drivers than they are.

Nowadays women appear  to have a positive image of themselves as safer drivers than men, according to a recent poll. In a survey done for insurer MetLife, 51% of women said their gender drives more safely.

If men are going to boast about their superiority to women on the open road, they might as well have some ammunition to back it up, and most of these 10 points are backed up by reputable studies:

1: Men are Involved in Fewer Crashes than Women, Per Mile Driven

2: Women + Cellphones

3 PMS and Sleep Deprivation

4: Studies Show That Both Sexes Agree: Men are Better Drivers

5: 99% of Winning Race Car Drivers are Men

6: Car-Related Female Fatalities on the Rise

7: Men Pass the Driving Test Faster

8 Men Have Stronger Abilities for Judging Speed, Spatial Analysis, & Mathematical Calculations

9: Men Have a Greater Experience With Cars

10: Women are More Likely to Drive with Pets in their Cars & Obstructions in Their Mirrors

No side will ever willingly admit defeat, but anyone who says that women are infinitely superior at driving needs to be made aware of these compelling points. Anyone who denies or downplays them just doesn’t want to admit how true they really are.
